Please check the email address provided in your application over the next 24-hours for delivery of your Free Spay & Neuter Certificate. If your e-mail address is either incorrect or invalid, your Spay & Neuter Application will be automatically rejected and your Free Spay & Neuter Certificate application will not be processed.

If after 48-hours, you do not receive a response, please email ani.vouchers@lacity.org to request a status update of your application.

Please schedule your companion animal's surgery immediately upon receipt of the Discount Coupon/Free Certificate (Vouchers). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our participating spay/neuter hospitals are fully booked weeks in advance and/or are performing a limited number of sterilization surgeries, making scheduling of appointments more difficult.

Extensions may only be granted for vouchers that have not already expired but extensions are not guaranteed. If you do require an extension, please email your request to ani.vouchers@lacity.org at least 2-3 weeks in advance of its expiration date.

Reminder -
Spaying or neutering is a healthier choice and a loving thing to do for your companion animal, and it is also the law in the City of Los Angeles for all cats and dogs over 4 months of age to be spayed or neutered (LAMC 53.15.2(b)).
